Parenting is hard. Experiencing worry and self-doubt is common. It’s easy to be hard on yourself for not doing or being more.

The trauma of having a child that struggles, whether it is medically, emotionally, or physically, is real and it can affect your whole life. Parenting in general can be stressful. Annie Young, of Sawubona Ranch in Littleton, Colorado specializes in helping parents reconcile the overwhelm, worry, and fear in a way that minimizes the stress on the family unit while maximizing self-compassion. Annie applies principles of Gestalt and the wisdom of horses (yes, horses!) to restore, renew, and revitalize parents which, in turn, supports the family unit as a whole.

Annie’s desire to serve parents stems from a former career as a Pediatric Dietitian working with infants and children with special needs. Also a parent herself, she has a deep desire to support parents working to live a life feeling light and joyful.
